What is group training?

Group Training was established in the early 1980’s as a way to ensure the continuation of employment of apprentices and trainees during the recession.

Group Training provides the ability for CCGT to employ apprentices and trainees and then place them with host employers, like you. CCGT is able to rotate an apprentice or trainee to alternate businesses where:

• Work at the current business runs out; or
• The apprentice or trainee cannot be taught some of the skills required for their qualification at one host employer
